What We Collect
When you sign in to Clustry, we collect and store:
- Your name, email address, and profile photo from your Google, Facebook, or Apple account
- Groups (clusters) you create or join
- Events, tasks, polls, lists, notes, and expenses you create within your groups
- Messages and posts you share with your groups
- Photos and files you upload to your groups
How We Use Your Data
We use your information to:
- Provide and improve the Clustry service
- Enable you to coordinate with your groups
- Send you notifications about events, tasks, and group activity (when you opt in)
- Authenticate your account and keep it secure
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not show you ads.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon. Files you upload are stored on Cloudflare R2. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information.
Third-Party Services
Clustry uses these third-party services:
- Authentication: Google Sign-In, Facebook Login, and Apple Sign In for secure login
- Database: Neon (PostgreSQL) for data storage
- File Storage: Cloudflare R2 for photos and files
- Maps: Google Maps Platform for location features
- Email: Resend for sending notification emails
- Hosting: Railway for application hosting
Each service has its own privacy policy. We share only the minimum data needed for these services to function.
Your Privacy Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the data we store about you
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Export your data
- Opt out of notification emails

Data Sharing Within Groups
When you join a group on Clustry, your name and profile photo become visible to other group members. Any content you create or share within a group (events, messages, photos, etc.) is visible to all members of that group. Group administrators can see your RSVP responses and participation in group activities.
Children's Privacy
Clustry is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the app. Your continued use of Clustry after changes means you accept the updated policy.
